Winzeler makes cover of Italian Plastix magazine
An article written by our strategic partner, Engel, continues to get picked up by editors in the plastics industry. And now we are in Italian. The cover of the recent Plastix magazine in Italy features a Gear Hat, created by one of the students participating in the School of the Art Institute Chicago (SAIC) advanced headwear design class.
The article features several photos of our plant, including art installations throughout our plant, Gallery 43, our art gallery within our manufacturing facility, and unique Gear Art imagery on our new Engel injection molding machines. If you can’t read Italian, the article covers our creative philosophy and our creative manufacturing environment. PlasticToday, here in the U.S., has a similar article.
You can also view the video of our Gear Gizmo project from NPE, where we partnered with Engel and DuPont, to create a molding cell to produce a gear assembly with a square, oval and triangular gear that all worked together.
